(More customer reviews)I bought this unit for my car a month ago and it has quit working.
In order to install, you have to take the dash apart and plug it into theback of the radio.
The instructions state that it cannot be left in the vehicle on very hot or cold days. In order to remove as recommended, I would have to disassemble the car every time it was hot outside. It only worked for about 1/2 hour after installation.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this to connect my iPod to my stereo like many people.When I received it I noticed that it was labeled as an output adapter for Pioneers line of satellite radios and got concerned.I tried connecting it and found that it didn't add an Aux input in my stereo menu.Crutchfield was willing to take a return but they couldn't exchange it because Amazon was involved.I got busy and didn't return it.I tried it again but did a little more research and found that you have to get into an obscure menu that is accessed in OFF mode... yes when the stereo is off.Anyways I turned the AUX input on in this obscure menu and viola it works, it works great and is long enough to hang out thru my ashtray opening where I can access it readily.

Overall it works fine but could use some instructions.

(More customer reviews)I was glad to find something that would allow me to switch back and forth from my Sony XBR960 HDTV, and my Sony upscaling DVD player.

Because most HDTV's have only one HDMI input, it is great to have a product that allows for expansion of added electronic gadgets that might be coming down the line like HD-DVD and Blu-Ray players. This thing is a winner, and it's easy to set up. It also comes with two HDMI cables, which can be expensive if you buy them somewhere like Circuit City or Best Buy.

One note: You can find much cheaper HDMI cables from private sellers on this site, on Ebay, or other online sellers. I did, and I see no difference in picture quality between them and my $80.00 Acoustic Research cable I bought from Best Buy.

(More customer reviews)I wanted an HDMI Switch that didn't require a remote.Unfortunately, the auto switch feature only works if the item you're switching from doesn't put out ANY current once you turn it off.Since most products (like ALL of mine) have a "stand by" mode that puts out a little juice - this feature doesn't work.For now, I'm afraid - getting one with the little remote seems to be the only option, unless you want to get up and switch it manually.It did work though on my Sony HDTV and Samsung Blu-Ray player.

(More customer reviews)I bought this to use with a power supply that only had one 6 pin PCI-E connector. It turns out that Sapphire included two 1x Molex to 1x PCI-E adapters in the box. However I was still determined to use this one since it pulls power from two molex separate connectors. The PCI-E connector was really tight and refused to go more than halfway in on the HD4870. I did not want to force it in so I decided to simply use the one of those Sapphire included which slipped on without any resistance.

These are supposed to be standard connectors. This situation should never have happened. Very disappointed.

(More customer reviews)I think this is as good as the expensive over $60 HDMI cables.I wouldn't spend money on the expensive ones.First of all, I'm not a cable junkie nor an expert.However, according to my research, there's no difference in performance b/w the expensive version nor the $12, $15, $20 version when it comes to HDMI since it's all digital.. hole buch of zeros and ones.The durability of the cables... I don't know.But unless you're someone who constantly plugs and unplugs the cables for some reason, it wouldn't matter.Normally, you'd connect the cable and keep it that way for a long period of time, so the durability is not really relevant.Bottomline: This is as good as the expensive ones.I first tried out the expensive Monster brand which was $85.Then I returned it after purchasing this, for the quality was the same.Don't buy the expensive ones.
